Conference Objectives

  1. Clinical: Using a syndemic approach, describe interdisciplinary actions to provide effective, culturally responsive, and person-centered HIV prevention, treatment, and care.
  2. Policy: Identify advocacy strategies to  respond to public policy issues impacting the health and welfare of persons living with/affected by HIV.
  3. Leadership: Examine nurse-led programs and initiatives that cultivate the professional growth of interdisciplinary teams and lead to improvements in equitable healthcare delivery.
  4. Research: Describe the development, translation, or implementation of research initiatives that impact nursing practice, care delivery, and/or health outcomes of persons living with/affected by HIV or associated comorbidities.

Cancellation policy

Registration cancellations received by the ANAC office on or before October 15, 2026 will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Cancellations received after October 15, 2026 are nonrefundable.

Information for Claiming Nursing Contact Hours (NCPD)

The Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC) is the provider of this educational activity, and will provide contact hours for completion of this activity. Attendees should only claim contact hours commensurate with attendance of sessions.

  • To receive nursing contact hours, attendees must:
  • Be registered for the conference
  • View entirety of session(s) for which contact hours are claimed
  • Complete the online evaluation:
    • Complete individual session evaluations for orally presented sessions attended (plenaries, invited sessions, and abstract sessions)
    • View all accredited education posters, attest to viewing posters for at least three (3) hours, and submit the online poster evaluation
    •  Complete the overall conference evaluation

The evaluation can be accessed using the conference app or via an electronic link which will be emailed to attendees within 10 days after the conference.
Deadline: In order to claim nursing contact hours, all evaluation requirements must be completed by December 31, 2026, at 11:59 pm EST. There are no exceptions for claiming nursing contact hours after this deadline.

                   The Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
