About the Role:
Are you a patient-centered healthcare professional committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care to a diverse patient population? Callen-Lorde is seeking a Primary Care Provider (NP/MD/DO) who specializes in HIV care to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

As a PCP at Callen-Lorde, you key responsibilities will include:

Clinical Care

  • Conduct patient screenings, examinations, diagnoses, and treatments across the lifespan.
  • Provide care that is respectful, compassionate, unbiased, and consistent with evidence-based guidelines.
  • Deliver care in scheduled 20-40 minute appointments and ensure timely follow-up on patient needs, test results, and referrals.
  • Document all care promptly in the electronic health record (EPIC).
  • Provide primary care services

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Make appropriate internal and external referrals.
  • Work effectively within a team-based care model, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Quality & Professional Development

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case conferences.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including continuing medical education.

Compensation
The salary range for this position will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. 

Qualifications

  • New York State Certification/Licensure (MD, DO, or NP)
  • Current NYS Registration and DEA Controlled Substances Registration Certificate
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease
  • Experience in community-based primary care preferred
