Gregorio Millett, M.P.H.

Gregorio Millett is a Senior Behavioral Scientist in the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP) at CDC. Mr. Millett has authored several papers that explore racial and ethnic disparities in HIV infection among men who have sex with men (MSM), correlates of HIV risk behavior among bisexual men of color, and the relationship between circumcision and HIV acquisition among MSM. Mr. Millett’s work has been published in JAMA, AIDS, Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes, American Journal of Preventive Medicine, American Journal of Public Health, as well as other medical and public health journals.  From 2009 through January 2011, Mr. Millett was a detailee in the White House Office of National AIDS Policy, where he served as a Senior Policy Advisor. In this role, he coordinated the Office’s policy and research activities and was one of the principal writers of the President’s National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Mr. Millett currently serves as the HHS/CDC liaison to the White House’s Office of National AIDS Policy and serves on central planning committee for the 2012 International AIDS Conference in Washington, DC.

Mr. Millett has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
