A note on the use of Artificial Intelligence ( AI) : HANCB strongly discourages the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs for primary drafting of application materials. Reviewers consistently report that the use of AI makes application language generic, and thus less likely to stand out in a competitive application pool. We understand that many people use AI as a tool for refining language/content. However, it is worth noting that applications are judged on the ideas presented, and not on grammar, punctuation, etc. Applications whose content is predominantly AI generated may be removed from consideration.
