Please consider nominating yourself or an ACLPN/ACRN/AACRN colleague for the HIV/AIDS Nursing Certification Board. Through active participation on the board, the nominee will be influential in shaping the practice of HIV nursing across the nation and around the world.

Serving on the HANCB Board of Directors is both a significant honor and a meaningful responsibility. To be considered as a candidate, the nominee must be:

1.    An AIDS Certified LPN (ACLPN), AIDS Certified Registered Nurse (ACRN) or an Advanced AIDS Certified Registered Nurse (AACRN)
2.    Committed to fostering excellence in HIV nursing through certification
3.    Willing to volunteer approximately 4-6 hours a month to HANCB related activities (quarterly board conference calls, committee conference calls, recertification audits, writing test items)
4.    Committed to attending the HANCB annual meeting and to participate in HANCB related board meetings and activities at the ANAC national conference.

Note: The application must be completed in one sitting, so have all necessary documents ready before starting. Draft responses in a separate document and copy-paste them into the application to prevent data loss.
