National HIV Curriculum

After you have submitted your ACLPN, ACRN or AACRN application, your eligibility will be verified by the HANCB national office (may take up to 7-10 business days). After your application has been approved, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to join the appropriate group on the National HIV Curriculum website.

Content for each certification includes the following modules: (1) Screening and Diagnosis, (2) Basic HIV Primary Care, (3) ART, (4) Co-occurring Conditions, (5) Prevention of HIV, and (6) Key Populations.

Pharmacology CE for nurses is also available for many activities if you desire to take these on your own. Pharmacology CE does not count towards your required modules but will provide you CE for additional professional nursing criteria.

The deadline for completion is six (6) months after you receive the emailed invitation to join the certification learning group. HANCB recommends completing at least one (1) module per week.
